Current status

Warp should currently be understood as early software. The repository is substantial and exercised, but it does not establish a stable public release or a complete platform matrix.

Demonstrably implemented in the inspected checkout

Section titled “Demonstrably implemented in the inspected checkout”
  • A Rust workspace containing warp_core, warp_editor, and warp_browser.
  • A wgpu-backed 2D rendering path with batched rectangles, lines, circles, textured images, and post-processing hooks.
  • A dockable editor with Game, Explorer, Code, Inspector, Output, Project, Atlas, Problems, Git, and other panels.
  • TOML project manifests named warp_app.toml.
  • Cargo-based project code and a project-facing Renderer trait.
  • Native build/run tooling and a browser host path.

Android NativeActivity/winit hosting, generic Android project packaging, multitouch, app-private storage, egui delivery, and screen overlays are present in the current source and validation documentation. They are documented as experimental target work, not as a promise of broad mobile support.

No download link, benchmark number, production-readiness guarantee, or universal desktop/mobile platform promise is made here. Those claims need public release artifacts or repeatable evidence that is not part of the inspected material.
