Editor tour
The editor is built around a dock layout. The default arrangement in source places the main Game view in the center, a Hierarchy on the right, a Project browser below, and an Explorer on the left. The layout can be split, tabbed, and torn off into tool windows.
Useful current panels include:
- Game — the project view and transport surface.
- Explorer and Project — filesystem/project views.
- Code and Problems — source editing and diagnostics.
- Inspector and Hierarchy — project/runtime inspection surfaces.
- Output — build and process output.
- Atlas, Asset Map, and Sprite Creator — asset-oriented tooling.
- Git, Notes, and Storyboard — project-side workflow tools.
The full catalog also includes conditional integrations and diagnostic panels. Treat those as tool-specific or experimental until their dependencies and target gates are understood.
